01 - In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, onion, garlic, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined to avoid a dense texture.
02 - Divide mixture into 4 equal portions and form into patties approximately 3/4 inch thick.
03 - Heat olive oil in a skillet or preheat grill to medium-high. Cook patties 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
04 - Place a slice of cheddar on each patty during the last minute of cooking. Cover to allow cheese to melt evenly.
05 - Lightly toast burger buns if desired to enhance texture and flavor.
06 - Layer lettuce on bottom bun, add turkey patty with melted cheese, then top with tomato, onion, and pickles. Spread optional condiments as preferred and crown with top bun.
