01 - Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker in a single even layer.
02 - Whisk together barbecue sauce, honey, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper until thoroughly combined.
03 - Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
04 - Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F and is tender throughout.
05 - Remove cooked chicken and shred using two forks. Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir thoroughly to coat with sauce.
06 - Serve hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley if desired.
