# How-To Steps:

01 - Wash and prepare all produce: chop pineapple into small pieces, remove tough stems from kale and chop leaves, peel the banana.

03 - Blend on high speed until completely smooth and no leafy pieces remain.
04 - Add ice cubes and blend again until the smoothie reaches a creamy, chilled consistency.
05 - Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

# Helpful Tips:

01 -
  • The pineapple completely masks any bitterness from the kale so you get all the nutrition without the grassy taste
  • It comes together in literally five minutes making it impossible to skip breakfast on busy mornings
02 -
  • Adding liquid before the kale prevents those frustrating moments when leaves get stuck under the blender blades
  • Using at least one frozen fruit component eliminates the need for much ice and prevents watering down the flavor
03 -
  • Invest in a high speed blender if you make smoothies regularly because it completely eliminates leafy chunks
  • Preportion fruit and freeze it in baggies so you can dump and blend without measuring on hectic mornings
