Frozen Strawberry Dole Whip (Printable)

A creamy frozen strawberry treat inspired by the classic Dole Whip. Made with simple ingredients, ready in 10 minutes, and completely dairy-free.

# What You Need:

→ Fruit & Juice

01 - 3 cups frozen strawberries
02 - 1/2 cup pineapple juice, chilled
03 - 1 medium ripe banana, sliced and frozen

→ Creamy Base

04 - 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk from carton

→ Sweetener

05 - 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup or agave syrup, to taste

→ Optional

06 - 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

# How-To Steps:

01 - Combine frozen strawberries, frozen banana, pineapple juice, coconut milk, maple syrup, and lemon juice (if using) in a high-powered blender or food processor. Blend on high, scraping down sides as needed, until completely smooth and creamy.
02 - Taste the mixture and add more syrup if desired to reach preferred sweetness level.
03 - Serve immediately for soft-serve texture, or transfer to freezer-safe container and freeze for 30-60 minutes for firmer consistency. Scoop into bowls or cones to serve.

# Helpful Tips:

01 -
  • It comes together in literally ten minutes with ingredients you probably already have stocked
  • The texture is shockingly close to the real thing, creamy and smooth without any dairy whatsoever
02 -
  • A regular blender might struggle with the frozen fruit. If it keeps getting stuck, let everything sit for two minutes to soften slightly before trying again.
  • Once frozen solid, it becomes pretty hard. Let it sit on the counter for five minutes before serving if you've frozen it longer than an hour.
03 -
  • Double the batch and freeze extra in ice cube trays for quick single servings later
  • If your blender isn't high-powered, break up the frozen fruit into smaller pieces before blending
